# AALTO International

> AALTO is a Paris-based luxury fashion house. Each garment carries its own identity through a Digital Product Passport, designed to last decades rather than seasons.

AALTO was founded by Finnish designer Tuomas Merikoski. The brand operates a Recoded™ system: every piece is built from 100% recycled materials and produced at Plateau Fertile, Fashion Green Hub's circular manufacturing facility in Paris. Unique one-of-a-kind pieces are catalogued individually with a 12-character UID identity.
